I had several hundred programming/computer books that got left behind in TN. I Have rebought a couple and bought some new ones, and have several PDF ones I bought from Humble Bundle. But just a small handful.
You reminded me, I need to repurchase Game S*snip*

New Chapter for Commodore?

8th June 2025
I never had a C64. Great Aunt & Uncle had bought me one for Christmas and it was wrapped under their tree with other gifts and somebody broke in and stole all the gifts and they weren't in a position to be able to afford to replace them all, so I *snip*

New Chapter for Commodore?

Will be interesting to see how it plays out, but TBH I love my Orange Pi 800. Definitely has the nostalgia feel and once my studio is done, it may be all I use here in the bedroom.

@Rychan. Sounds cool. Carolyn used to make phone ''caddies'' and sell on etsy out of clogs made for little kids.

I have a brand new, Palm Pilot m130 that I only ever used to test the color version of a game I wrote in PocketC.
Also have a Psion series 3a in pristine shape. The Psion had an amazing golf game for it, that could never be registered due to the author *snip*

Future of Blitz

For me, as much as I love Fred & PB, I do not like the 3D side of it -- too complex for me. DB & B3D were perfect for my mediocre 3D needs and simple enough I could wrap my head around them.

Lee, from the beginning, always said DB was inspired by AMOS. The IDE literally killed a brand new $500 19'' CRT monitor within a month and a half. Monitors did not have digital switching yet for resolution changes and still used a mechanical relay. Fr*snip*
What made Blitz Basic so great in its heyday?
What made BB so great was just how bad DarkBASIC was at that time.
DX-Creator was out before DB and even though it compiled to P-Code, it was blistering fast (as fast as Blitz Basic would later*snip*

Digital hoarding is good, IMHO. Granted I lost 98% of my backups going back to '79, but I equally lost 98% of my physical (non digital) belongings.

I won't be joining, but IMHO, you should open it up to the languages in the Blitzverse. Some, like me, preferred others over Max. Blitz is a pretty tiny community now, and you further reduce it by only targeting Max, IMHO.

So, roughly 20% for an hour of play would mean around 5 hours of gameplay? Not too horrible.
Can it be used while charging, like if you were on the go and had one of the USB C battery packs made for charging?
