Lily Allen proves a point.

You really shouldn't copy things.

Excellent, promoting anti-piracy by plagiarizing other peoples work...

also, to paraphrase one of the comments on that page "if heroin was as illegal as file sharing then the music industry would be in trouble" - lol

I'm sorry, but this seems stupid to me. Copying a blog post is not the same as downloading music that might have made an artist some money.

I'm kind of sick of the pirating community's insistence that what they're doing is ok. They can't just admit that they're breaking the law and get on with it. It's just as bad as those who blab about "pirating helps the artist make more money" as an excuse for their activity.

You can't make a point about ripping someone off, by ripping someone off. That makes you a total hypocrite.

You can't steal someone's writing without at least crediting them for having written it. It's not fair and it's really not ok.

Being an article manager for my company, copying someone elses work is highly spoken again, as it not only amplifies noise and shows that you don't know what you're talking about, in a web sense, hurts your credibility due to duplicate content. Believe it or not, people MAKE MONEY from their content, and someone ripping them off can hurt pretty bad. Could you say downloading an E-Book rather than buying it 'isn't as bad as pirating music'? No, You can't, don't even try. The point is, you're taking from someones livelihood.

while as it's stupid that this happened, pirates really have no excuses for what they're doing - You can kill a man for food or you can do it for shits and giggles, but point is, he's still dead.
