1.21 GigaWatts!!! Great Scott!

I'm with Kuron here - Hover != maglev

While cool in its own right, the future for this doesn't seem to lead anywhere (let alone Back) - there's just too much required to make it worthwhile or viable.

And fuck yeah, that noise - naught to headache in 3.2 nanoseconds.

Strange that the inertial resistance on this looks harder than it does on a real skateboard too.

Could've done with a close-up shot to show it is definately hovering. I'm remaining a little skeptical until I actually see one this time.

I just found their Kickstarter page and it's busted the goal with 52 days remaining, with that amount raised they must be for real or they're in deep shit if they're lieing.

Here's the current stats:

1,714
Backers

$316,838
pledged of $250,000 goal

52
days to go

They only needed a quarter of a million to get this stuff up and running? Waaaaaaaaaaaay too cheap if you ask me... Sounds well dodgy.

Well in that case they will wind up chest-deep in shit, with egg on their faces.

I feel sorry for the poor skaters that have bought new graffix tranfers while they eagerly await the board being released.

They must be serious, even the BBC are covering the story.
